Once again, SNL named NOA as one of the country’s top-performing community banks under $500 million in assets. At #46 out of the top 100 banks, NOA is the only Georgia community bank that has been on this list for four years in a row.  For the ranking, SNL looked at 3,921 commercial banks with less than $500 million in assets at year-end 2014 and scored them using six metrics: pretax return on average tangible assets, net charge-offs as a percent of average loans, efficiency ratio, adjusted Texas ratio, net interest margin and loan growth.
